I can vouch for Kingpin - the guy is straight up good, patient, knowledgeable, and unselfish.  Good move on giving him the role of trainer.

Hello Mike,

I'll be happy to work with you.  In fact, I noticed a few specific things from your recent films that you may want to work on.  PM me or post here when you are available and we'll set up a time.

If you show an interest in helping people and the ability to teach, you may be asked if you'd like to join the training corps when there is an opening.

well bud at least I've tried if you can do better feel free to go for it. kinda surprising to me that I haven't been picked up...not sure if folks think I suck or my videos are crap or worried Im gunna go overboard if I became a trainer. But thats cool. I have the most Aces High content on youtube and Ive brought in a number of players both new and old not that that is important. Anyway glad youre having fun. To the two who bacme trainers good on you and I know youll do good work. Guess Ill pick up whatever Im lacking at some point.

Yes I was  :aok

Vudu, your content is decent...but one only needs to look at your 109 videos...

Now this is my opinion on the training corps, not sure how they pick up trainers, I don't think they should be opinionated when training or discussing tactics....which all of them seem to be very well versed on WW2 literature and facts surrounding planes and vehicles in the game. That's why I could never be a trainer..."A Brewster is an easy mode plane that is used by those who bottom feed furballs" I'm opinionated about gameplay, and your videos show you are the same...that's why I think it's funny you think you should be a trainer. Your content can definitely help day 1 guys, but I'd hope the trainers are able to help the guys who are looking to advance further which your videos will get them stuck at a pretty low level of performance. My opinion, don't care what you take from it...you're a decent stick and make some good video content for sure but I just rather not see someone training people the wrong thing ...example your 109 films...why da fuq are you making those films? You fly 109 at all?

If Vudu is helping new players stay with the game then he is doing what trainers do. I said you weren't talking about him because I thought you were wrong,  I understood that you intended to be rude.   :aok

Thanks gents junky I'm not a 109 guy never claimed to be, but I have fought my way out of some things. But this is really about my Brewster isint it? Anyway hold on to your anguish about that little plane.

Welcome to the Trainers!

Wait until you get a young player log into the TA and say, "Hey. I ned to learn to doggfit. Show me but i have to log in 10 minutes."  This kind of statement wears you down eventually.

I watch vudu vids when I'm traveling for work, like this week.

Keep it up Vudu, I think they are great!

Do any of the ah trainers have training videos? If so, where are they? It would be good to have them "approved" and all put into one folder on the ah site. Not just ah videos, but training videos.

We're working on the trainer's web page and plan on training videos. It's better to learn from a trainer because you get performance feedback and specific relevant advice but we realize some players prefer to learn on their own.

Wow, there's a blast from the past! Thanks Vudak it's good to see you're still around.  :)

Thanks to all for the warm welcome.  :salute

For those that don't know me, and as Vudak eluded to, I've been around AH for a while and actually started in Air Warrior back in the '90's. I moved to AH in 2001 tour 23 iirc. I don't fly the main arenas much anymore. I get my enjoyment from FSO, scenarios, and helping people improve their fighter skills. I'm constantly learning something in this game, and would like to pass that knowledge on.

I would also like to say that anyone that is willing to spend the time helping people improve, and maintain interest in AH is a welcome addition to the community. Be it an official AH trainer, or a player that is willing to helpfully answer someones questions.

I applaud anyone who is sincerely willing to put time and effort into training, or helping in the background with webpages and videos.

It is easy to sit back and play the game, criticize and complain about coding and visuals, performance of aircraft and tanks, and ground guns, etcetera, but it really does take some guts and fortitude to step up to the plate and help the game improve by giving your own time, free of charge, and perhaps learning that this game is extemely complex.

I welcome our new Trainers, and you should too, because both of them are highly skilled.

Once upon a time there was this game where you could lose yourself into the fantasy of flight...and combat...and it was called...Aces High!

There are so many people that helped me along the way that I don't want to start naming them for fear of forgetting someone.  :headscratch:
And yes, I guess we are that old. Between AW, and AH I've spent almost twenty years flying cartoon planes with, and against real people.   :O
