Title: Spit 9 bomb

Can we have the ability to carry bombs back please as the spit 9 had this in real life?

It should have the capability to carry a single 500lb bomb in AH, IIRC.  This is historically correct for any 'universal' winged Spitfire, such as the F.Mk IX in AH.

The 250lb bombs under each wing could only be carried on 'e' wing Spitfires such as later Mk IXs and the Mk XVI.   No Merlin 61 Spitfire Mk IX, like the one in AH, ever had the 'e' wing.

Thank you Karnak, so as I believed the Spit 9 should be able to carry a bomb. Not sure why Hitech took it off as it used to have this ability?

Due to the high priority need to counter the Fw190 the initial Mk IXs were never sortied for ground attack.  It is likely HTC is modeling that fact by not including bomb options.  The Mk XIV follows the same pattern, although capable of capable of carrying bombs, it was only used as a fighter at first.

Us chaps who like to fly the spit do like blowing things up too...wot.
I say, listen to Vox , hes a good egg.
More Bombs the better.
