Gents, I'm seemingly unable to "register" for the scenario.
Here's what I see when I hit the link ROC provided above:

Any help? ;)
Best, Odd

I get the same thing. Won't show any means of registration.
-
For folks who have weird problems, try clicking the "member login" (upper right of page), then click the "logout" button on the dialog that pops up. Then click the "member login" again and click the "login" button. In other words, log out and then log back in again. See if that gets things going correctly. (I need to this procedure from time to time to get things working.)
-
I was getting that too but clicked on scenario information or something like that then next scenario then registration and I made it. Trying to click on current or next scenario gave me the private site error.
-
Fixed after reading Bald Eagle's post. Much obliged, sir! :aok
-
I had to take a little different approach.
I had to go events>scenarios>about scenarios>next scenario and links to registration>Click here
http://www.ahevents.org/scenario-registration.html
-
I had to do the same thing as BaldEagl
:salute

This time the link to the registration page in the next scenario info page worked. All signed up.
-
Digging in to find what's going on with the links. I really don't like Joomla :)
-
Is there a page showing the players registered for this scenario?

have to be logged in to see who is where.

Hi Bruv,
Thank you very much. That'll be helpful in lettin' me know which
of my wayward squaddies have been neglectful in their duty to
register. ;)
Best regards, Odd

I (nearly) always have to log into the site twice before it is accepted, always click in the 'remember me' box, but it never remembers me (even though name and password is usually already filled in) and I have to do this routine every time I want to log in. (LOL, just tried again now and it worked first time just to make a liar out of me! :D)
Anyway, now registered for Allied 6 and looking forward to the scenario starting! :x

I've got a question regarding the registration of my 47 Ronin pilots for
the scenario.
There are four "frames" to participate in, but not all of my pilots are
able to attend all four. Thus, I'll be utilizing -more- than the official
8 slots shown on the registration page in order to field 8 pilots for
each of the frames.
Can more than -8- people sign up for "Allied 1", or would those
attempting to select "Allied 1" be unable to register as it would
be "filled" on that page?
ie: would I just then utilize them on game/frame day as a "walk on" ?
Regards, Odd
-
Hi Oddball,
Have those who are going to make at least 3 frames lock up a slot. You can have those who might attend one or two frames attend as a walkon, but your CO should you to dedicate them to your squad as a reserve.
If you have more than 8 showing on frame day, just let them know they can help fill out another squad which they will most likely need.
If you have an abundance of players who might actually round out two squads, get with the CO and perhaps merge the squads to run together in missions.
-
Hi ROC,
I've got 5 registered so far, and another 3 who've committed to one or more frames
but who have yet to register.
So, of 32 total slots for the four frames, I've got 26 covered as of now.
I'm comfortable that if my squaddies can't/won't fill those holes that I can
get a pilot or two from my friends in the LWA to help me out.
Here's where I'm currently at:

Is there a delay time between the time a pilot has successfully "registered" for an event and
the time it shows him on the list of pilots registered for that scenario?
One of my guys, Apexxx91 sent me a screenshot which showed: "Congratulations, you have
been successfully registered for the next scenario", yet he's not showing as registered
as of this time.

I'll go check in the back end and see what the hiccup is.

Here's what my squaddie "Apexxx91" sent me, showing that he was "officially registered"
Screenshot he sent me:
What I'm seeing on the "registered pilots" page:
Note also that it shows 8 slots; of which 1 is open...yet there are only 6 pilots showing
as registered. (Apexxx91 not showing, though perhaps "counted")
Methinks the registration process could be simplified and/or made a bit more
friendly/intuitive. :D

Thanks ROC,
My apologies for being a pain in the arse. But this being my first time ramrodding
a squadron in a scenario, I don't want to mess up any admin stuff. :D

Hello Odd,
Notice the gap between two commas? That's him. He needs to check his profile information and verify it is completely filled out on the AH Events site. This happens to one or more of my swine every time.
See you up there,
Way
-
Waystin nailed it.
the , , is him. He made it in, but his profile isn't complete. Usually didn't include a name in the players name or in game slot.
He needs to log in and update his profile and it will fill in.
Typically, I end up changing their password, logging in, fixing their profile, logging out and sending them the password so they can log in and change it. Have him contact me directly if this is what I need to do.
-
Thanks Waystin and ROC. I've emailed Apex and sent along some screenshots to aid him in
setting up that profile.
Regards, Odd

Okay, I've got all 8 slots covered. Apexxx91 will remain as a "comma".
-
Alrighty I'm in for axis 3 :salute

Odd,
I'll go fix him :) Have him send me a PM with what he wants his password to be, I'll go in, fix his profile and set the password back.
-
Hi ROC,
Just assign him a password , tell me what it is, and I'll email him with that info.
I don't even know if he's registered on the forums.
I'm actually perfectly fine with him remaining as a "comma" as I emailed him
three days ago with screenshots and instructions on how to access his "scenario profile"
and it still apparently hasn't gotten done.
Thanks for your efforts, ROC. I know it's a pain in the neck and you've already got
enough on your plate.
Best regards, Odd

In! I'll need something large to hold a huge beverage while participating. Cutting lid off 55 gal. drum seems appropriate.
Seems I'll need 3 to 4 bags of ice for the 3 hour event.

Get a room.

Same logging in problem here and I dont see the logout button
-
If you have problems:
1. Click the "Member login" in the upper right of ahevents.org
2. Click the "logout" button in the popup.
3. Log back in.
4. Click "Events".
5. Select "Current or next scenario".
6. Click "registration is here" link.
Sorry for trouble. The site sucks, yes, we know. We have no one who knows how to fix it right now.
