Is there a particular map we will be using for "Southern Conquest"?
If so, where would one download it for viewing offline?
As well, have fields been decided upon from which the Allies will be taking off from?
(This with regards, to "Frame 1")

If you visit the events primary website, https://southernconquest.wordpress.com/ then you can see a tab for each frame with the active airfields and terrain for each individual frame.
Launch assignments will be up to the eventual CO.
I can link to the terrain files, or anyone can select the terrain for offline flight and it will download.

Actually ROC, if I'm not mistaken, if anyone doesn't already have the terrain, the easiest and surest way to get the terrain would be to create a Custom Arena, and then select the terrain for their arena. The terrain will then automatically download as you suggested.
It will be on their hard drive and they can fly if off-line as well as online the day of your event.
Happy Holidays,

I created a "custom arena" and chose the "Italy" map. I get arena initializing
and then seconds later when it seems to load, the arena "crashes" and I'm dumped
to desktop.
No biggie, and not worth the aggravation to try it a third time. Just thought it
might be cool to see what it looked like from the air.

Odd, I'll post up some links for the terrains, just to make sure it's the correct ones. I'll link them from the maps and terrain names in each frames page.

The two terrains used in the event are Italy (for all frames but Operation Torch) and Tunisia (for Operation Torch).
