Was thinking about how the b24 can carry 8 1000lbs bombs but only 12 500 lbs bombs.
Asked abroad and someone stated the bomb bay was only so big.
And now that I think about it several sites and books I've read stated that American and and
believe German bomber could carry more, with the price being range and fuel
Following are for our, the B17G
"Thirteen 50-cal. machine-guns plus a maximum of 17,600 lb (7,983 kg) of bombs. Normal bomb load 6,000 lbs (2,724 kg).
Largest bomb type carried was 2,000 lb (908 kg)."

Anyone else have anymore input and if this should be implemented in game? I could see it as a problem potentially at the same time if it was used historically( I don't know how to search what missions and how many times it was used) maybe it could be implemented in game

They did use the external bomb racks a few times to bomb targets on the coast of France, but the racks did impact performance and thus survivability. Internally the B-17 was limited to a max of 8,000 lbs. I don't see a good reason why they shouldn't be added to the game as they were used operationally.

So far my research has shown the b24, and ju-88A4 are good checking the mossie, Lancaster, and other ones

Not even sure of what your asking for here. If your looking for a more "historical" load out, for every bit of info you find saying one thing some one else will find something saying something else. What I think HTC did was to get an "average" for each seeing as there were so many conflicting accounts and that is the number they went with. On the other hand, it could be loaded that way as a game consideration.

In a way you answered one question. And it makes sense. I was just this should have been laced in the wish list :rolleyes:
