I assume I'll need to change my current monitor resolution of 1920-1080 to match the TV's 1366-768 in AH vid settings?
Current FOV is 106. Change or leave it be?
Thanks

Leave FOV at 106. That is a low res TV, I'd stick with the monitor.
-
Odd resolution.

I had a similar TV I tried on a PC years ago. I think it was 1360 by 768 but the PC ran it at a lower resolution.
-
I wouldn't do it with a 768 res TV. I just switched from a 24 inch monitor to a 40 HDTV and it worked fine. But you need HD or better and a video card that can handle it.
-
Any text will look very garbled on that tv. And your game will look like Minecraft.
-
If you can hook up from the computer to the TV with an HDMI cable the resolution might be able to remain at 1920 x 1080

Not if the native resolution of the TV is only 1366x768.

It sounds like it's an older 720p tv,I have 1 in the bedroom that just wont die!!!! :furious
:salute

that sounds like a terrible gaming tv

I used a LCD with 1360x768 native res. Worked great. What you need to check on is the response time, not refresh rate.
The LCD I used above had an 8ms response time.
The LED I use now is around 19ms response time.??????

The one thing you'll probably lose will be clear text. I haven't fixed that(if it is fixable) But the picture is nice.

hmmm several have mentioned this. I noticed no loss of text clarity, I used the lcd for years, my ma uses it now, it is 40". the text is fine.......
either way the modern stuff is just too goooood. you'd have to use a hammer at install to mess it up. he he
luck

I was referring to text within the game. Text outside of the game has been no problem.

Ah, ok.
As for AH text clarity I've noticed that some font sizes are crisper than others. Right click the title bar of the text buffer and Select Font.

I did bump up the texture setting (within the game) to 4xxx something and it seemed to improve, but not completely.
