You should be able to adjust your range on your tank from the hanger like you can on planes. This would allow you to spawn in with your sight at 1k or whatever you like to have it at. I feel like a lot of spawn camps could be cleared this way. :pray

I like it, I like it alot.
-
You spawn in at different spots so your going to end up having to adjust anyway....your asking for a milliseconds less time it takes to adjust your turret....what you should ask for is the ability to spawn your tank facing a certain way...so your front takes the shot and your making less of a turn.
-
Unless it will be changed at the last moment. Your tank faces in the direction of the compass the spawn button describes on your clipboard. The radius of the random circle you spawn into from the point the spawn object was laid down on the terrain can be changed from 0 - 26400 by the administrator for the map.
Not all tanks have optics with the elevation adjustment tied to the barrel of the main gun like the Zeiss optics or Russian optics. American tanks have a range ladder.

Interesting idea Dallas.
What is the time delay between when the spanner can see vs. when the spawn camper can see the spawner?
-
Suggestion: Map your gun range to an analog controller, for example your throttle. Then every time you spawn it will be the same as the last time you set your range. (Or if you want something particular, spawn in the hanger, set it, then exit, then spawn to the desired point.)

From what I've seen it can Vary,
Sometimes you spawn and immdiatly die before you see or hear anyone, and sometimes you can spawn and start moving before hey see you. I believe this situation is similar to the collision in that what your computer sees is different than the other peeps

I've been killed by invisible tanks and seen people kill tanks that had not loaded in...definitely a lag in there.
-
Guess it has to do with internet lag, it takes a sec or two for the system to tell your computer that Another player has spawned in.
-
ok to kill the vh spawn campers. go to the other side of the map, wait a few seconds, move really fast back to the vh field you want, spawn, adjust and fire. you will have about 4 or 5 seconds before they see you. keep doing it over and over again.

I'm not a fan of cheating. I'll just keep upping and call in air support. They'll die eventually.

Correct, it's called gaming the game. Is it "bad"? That's up to the user to decide.
I spawned in once, got killed instantly. Upped a Jeep, found out where he was, got killed. Upped a T34/76 (fast turret), spawned, got a snap shot, killed spawn camper. Got nasty PM claiming "haxxor" because I hit him before he knew I was there.
Bet he thinks this type of gaming was a "bad" thing.....

games are supposed to be gamed. how fair is it for a guy to stand just behind the vh and kill you every time you up. isnt that also gaming the game?
