I have just obtained a new laptop in order to play the new aces high 3 , however its an i5 processor with an NVidia gt940m graphics card which is not recognised by the game at all. I find this bizarre. The graphics wizard also doesn't recognise aces high at all. Is it not supported? if not,i`ll be goind to something that is because I cant afford to keep changing.
Some help would be great, but it needs to be in plain English cos I`m thick.

Just been on NVIDIA GT940M "supported games" list. Aces High does not appear there and therefore it wont work with the game. Other "bang up to the minute" titles are there and are supported. Is Aces High3 going to be supported? if not,i`ll be leaving when aces high 2 closes down.

What graphics wizard?
Not sure what you are trying to do.
All you should have to do is to download the Beta (http://downloads.hitechcreations.com/AHBETA001.EXE), run the installer (AHBETA001.EXE), and double-click the desktop ICON (Aces High Beta Game).
There is nothing to recognize. The game does not have to be listed at NVidia's WEB site in order to run.

I'm trying to run the aces high 3 beta at a reasonable and playable framerate. according to the aces high setup its recognised only the hd intel graphics which is so poor its not worth mentioning. I have a graphics card too,an NVidia as described, but it wont run through that. all other games have no problem, but aces high beta isn't working with NVidia. it may be something I`m doing but I only get a 9 framerate. which is unplayable and that's with all the bells and whistles turned off

gonna re install and try again

Make sure you allow a desktop ICON to be installed. The NVidia control panel does not always detect installed games correctly. You might have to manually add Aces High to it.
In the NVidia control panel, go to the "Manage 3D Settings" and select Aces High from the "Program Settings" tab, then select the "preferred graphics card" from the drop down list and select your better card.

I was just going to type the same until I noticed the last sentence of Skuzzy's advice. This is not a new thing, it's been used in gaming capable laptops for several years. Just so you know the setting can change inadvertently for example after an update of the game or the video card drivers.

I have sussed it. The game does not automatically run on NVidia. It has to be told to run it with Nvidia. right click on screen and into NVidia 3d settings. you have to tell it to look for the game folders. huge difference, now getting 36 fps instead of 9

Well done skuzzy...you were right. This drove me mental today. Thanks for the advice. Its exactly as you described
