Title: The Oscars
Post by: zack1234 on January 20, 2016, 01:32:31 PM
The gibberish about diversity :rofl

Giving awards to people who would not condescend to sit at the same table as the rest of us.

Spike Lee is he always angry?

I am not represented at the Oscars!

I am the biggest star in AH!

I am boycotting it this year, I have sent my dress back in protest!

BET?

Black Entertainment Television.  Quite a popular Television channel in some circles... and a shining example of this Diversity Mr. Lee wants.  :headscratch:

The Academy has ALWAYS been a pack of elitist snobs, denying worthy performances simply because they PERSONALLY don't like someone, while awarding others they DO like for undeserving performances simply because they failed to award them another year. To say nothing of the way they relegate ENTIRE GENRES to an artistic ghetto by denying them consideration for the more prestigious awards (it took ***74 YEARS*** to honor a fantasy film, despite many of the greatest films of all time coming from the genre).

Race has NOTHING to do with it.

I think race should have everything to do with it. Whoever runs the fastest wins.

We can have a 100 yd, 500 yd, 5 mile, and 25 mile. Then save on the cost of statues with only 4 being needed.

Can add one more for best dressed on the track.

TV coverage will cover just the end of the races and the trophy presentation so that we can all go back to watching the Big Bang Theory and wishing Penny didn't cut her hair off as it makes her look much older.

There needs to be a race in high heels for the ladies and a special award would go to those that wore no undies......

BET?

British Enlightenment Television

Its like the BBC but aimed at people who have no music talent, no education, and choose to live life off of welfare. Oh and they say the queen is rubbish

Black Entertainment Television sounds very diverse.  White Entertainment Television would (of course) be racist, which is worse than rape, terrorism and pedophilia.

Spike Lee and Al Sharpton want participation trophies, which would mean a lot of snubbed stars (very talented stars) would still be robbed of awards they truly deserved.

But, just to be fair I have to say I don't think any of these "snubbed" actors deserve an Oscar:

If Zack isn't represented in the Oscars, I'm boycotting, too.

We don't even have ZET to fall back on (Zack Entertainment Television).  We have only ZEMB (Zack Entertainment Message Board, which I grant you, is more entertaining than the Oscars anyway).

Also, the Japanese should sue for misappropriation of the name of one of their aircraft.

Yes!

I am being marginilsed!

Because I am gorgeous.

I have no money and am not famous so I don't count :cry

Oscars :rofl

It's like those articles about women who are unfairly represented in Corporate management, most women are in kak jobs earning minimum wages and don't give a damn about rich women being marginalised.

So why did Benny Hill not win a Oscar?

The Oscars.  Where Hollywood gets together to slap one another on the back.  No more, no less.

I will never understand why someone would watch them <shrugz>

I know!  Let's have all AH'ers get together and give one another trophies for being the best!!

That........is the Oscars.

GOD that show was awesome. So long as there's an obsession with bringing back old shows, why can't they bring back the Critic, too? Just forget the web series ever happened and pick up where the old one left off.
