Title: Those magnificent men and their flying machines

Just caught some of this on TV. I'll probably rent it to watch the whole thing. What I caught was entertaining.

There's a scene where a pilot lands his old timey plane on a moving stream train.

You can see nuke plant cooling towers behind him in the background.

What a funny contrast.

Both were two of my favorites when I was a young'n




Funny thing is. Those machines werent real far from some of the ideas that were actually tried..Some of them even worked
