Title: Frame freeze whenever mic is keyed
Post by: BFX88 on February 27, 2016, 11:12:58 PM
Need help please!  New problem just started, whenever I key the mic to  talk, the frame freezes and the game stops.  When this happens the only thing I can do is control/alt/delete and log off the computer completely.  I keep getting an error message in windows that says Aces High does not allow audio streaming???  My settings have never changed, I don't understand!

It would be really helpful if you could post a DXdiag report as Skuzzy describes here:

I have the same exact problem. Been having it for months. Every time I start the game. Every. Single. Time. I rarely use vox anymore. Got tired of the freeze-ups.

Without a DXDIAG output there is not much which can be said to help in these cases.

99 times out of 100, it is usually due to installing multiple sound devices which happen to end up on the same interrupt in the computer and the devices do not play well together.

Or it could be strictly a resource issue.

I can list a few hundred possibilities, but most of them will not be the problem.  The DXDIAG output goes a long way in steering the course down a reasonable and logical path.
