Ive recently picked up a new EVGA Gtx 980 Card and getting ready to install it and was wondering what drivers you all using with it that you find stable, comming from a AMD card hope the drivers are tad more stable. Thanks in advance.. :salute

You might as well download the latest version from Nvidia. At least under Windows 10 they are stable. If you are using Windows 10 then you should install them using the Express Settings and then reboot immediately after the installation completes.

Thanks, im using Win 7 pro if that makes any difference.

Be sure to get rid of all the old AMD drivers!

Yes, if you are switching brands of video cards (AMD to/from NVidia), then make sure you clean out the drivers using a third party tool to remove them. If not, you will have stability and performance problems.

Thanks, that's the plan. :salute

Hey Cannuk I have a 980 card also. All I did was download the G-force experience software from the website and whenever a driver update is available the software detects it and I click express installation. Very easy to use.
