Title: P-51 inner gear doors

Its a minor point, but I think the P-51 looks so much better on the ground when the inner gear doors are extended.

Would be cool if you spawned with the inner doors down, and after engine is started they would automatically retract after 3-4 seconds.   When the engine is shut down, if gear is down and speed is 0, the automatically extend.   Or actual control of them with a key would also be cool.

Would also love the ability to open/close the canopy.  This might help by allowing your to lean your head out while taxiing, but really for me its about the immersion - one more thing to do when you get your plane ready to roll down the runway, and the loud engine sound being reduced as the canopy closes make me feel more "there".

I'm pretty sure it actually gets louder with the canopy closed. The Plexiglas in close proximity with your ears makes things much worse, because it resonates with the engine vibrations. This is why the GoPro makes such a terrible audio recorder.

The flaps also bleed down as I recall...once the hydraulic pump shuts off.   Takes time but...

HT builds higher quality P51's with hydraulic accumulators that don't bleed pressure  :old:
