Recorded using traps. Went to the saved film and a black screen is shown with the sounds :headscratch:

Recorded with saved views, full screen if that helps at all

Spent an hour re recording and this is rather annoying lol
Obviously I did something wrong but I'm not sure what

And they don't even play in windows movie maker. The frustration is real :bhead :bhead

Only things opened while recording was the file I save the recording in, and ah film viewer

You were using Fraps to record while the film viewer played? 

What size was the film you recorded with Fraps? Is it the free version?

Have you made films like this before?

I have made them this way before yes.
It is the free version and I'm recording at 60fps.
But not like last time there's no video, just sound

Ran with a different program, finally have video but the quality leaves something to be desired lol
