Title: Ah film viewer crashing while using Fraps
Post by: Zacherof on March 22, 2016, 06:10:40 PM
Only programs I'm running are Fraps and the film viewer. Film works fine by itself. Soon as I record with Fraps, 1-2 seconds later it stops working :bhead

Are you running the film in full screen mode?  I think you are going to need to before Fraps and it will get along.

This can also be a video card driver issue.  Running a windowed mode DirectX application, such as the film viewer, along with another DirectX program, like Fraps, places special requirements on the driver.

Yes I run it full screen.
Also off topic a little but I recorded one time and it appeared as it would in game, and the next piece it appeared as my external FOV changed and icons appeared to be farther away.

Back to op, it's hit and miss when it works. Yesterday I changed my firewall settings to off. It works now, after multiple recordings, still a bit of lag at first.
