Title: Sound Problems
Post by: Cheyenn on April 11, 2016, 11:31:33 PM
On March 23rd during patch 14 I reported the engine sound problem with the Lancaster Bombers!!! Other players reported and confirm they had
engine sound or lack of engine sounds. Now we are on patch 16 and still no freaken engine sound with the Lancaster Bomber!!! Is HTC going to look into this problem and fix it??????? :furious

Intersestiong. I hear engine sounds in lancs. I did in 15 as well. The only strange thing I noticed is that if I engage WEP the volume drops significantly.

The sound for my lancs (Beta 17) sounds fine, including when WEP is engaged.

Still hearing louder volume when facing rear than when facing front in some planes.

(Will do some testing tonight to identify which planes.)

This is as it should be. Think about it.

We do our best to fix all bugs.

But being this is beta and  we do so at OUR pleasure, in OUR time frame.

Thanks for the report.

Chalenge, please explain why the engine sound should be louder when facing the rear.

(Not sure that it would be noticeably louder in any direction when wearing a leather helmet and headphones.)

BTW, it is the radial engine planes that are louder when facing the rear.

You didn't think about it hard enough.
