Sorry about the mix up on my end , Planing for the defense .of our assigned base ,    I changed 54 for 57 . to all the squads   :salute.. Sorry for taking your time away ,

The good thing is that the FSO community is understanding about this and it doesn't happen very often.  Don't let it happen again!!!    :evil:

This stuff happens. I once led the whole squad in heavy ponies into a dead end canyon. Everyone had a picnic on the hillside.   :rofl

Well...  It would have been a helluva fight with the 412th and 68th.

the allies have been getting beat up so bad by the axis lately, it was a great way to psychologically built them up a little, and make them feel good about bombing a base. next week we'll let reality set in, and wipe them out, like we always do!

1Canukk - It happens.  I remember hitting a AXIS base in the FSO about 2-3 years ago and there wasn't any AXIS defenders.  CIC made a mistake on which field to defend LOL  It happens.

Reality is that your planes were in other locations and we hit the red wall coming in.  So in the end it all worked out I think.

I was saying the whole time I wonder if they got the wrong base to defend? Ain't right that we're all over this large target field and what defenders we could find were heading away from the field while we were flashing it! Ain't the first time that's happened!
