Title: Why I'm sending a bottle of bourbon to the Finns.
Post by: Brooke on April 22, 2016, 11:31:36 PM: I told the Finns that, if six or more of them register for the June Scenario "The Battle of the Dnieper", I would send them a bottle of my favorite bourbon, Woodford Reserve.

Camo, Jokeri, vuokko, mursutin, JanneK, Tikto, and kiaku are registered and ready to fly and fight in the skies over the Eastern Front.

And so a bottle of this:

There are many excellent German aircraft available. The Bf 109G, in which so many Luftwaffe aces racked up over 100 kills. FW 190F-8's -- awesome machines of destruction, and excellent fighters in addition. And the mighty Ju 88 -- fast, relatively sturdy, with large payload.

I have flown the 109G many times to great success in scenarios:

Not at all. I didn't specify any side in the offer. In fact, I was sure they'd pick to be on the Luftwaffe side. No way would they fly Soviet -- not Finns! I thought ROC was deluded. :O

Well, you are right, I am :rolleyes: but still got em!

We need more people to sign up, the Axis needs to get registered. There are some squads waiting for us to expand the roster and they want to fly on team VVS so come on Axis, get your groups filled with more targets!! Fly that banner, wave that flag, call to arms, fill em up so we can increase the registration size. The event will be fun with 100 but it will be more fun with more!
