WHY DO WE HAVE A NO RE LAUNCH RULE IN FSO? PEIVIOUS POST QUESTION WAS NOT ANSWERED... HOW ABOUT NOW?
First, your caps lock still appears to be stuck in the on position; please look into it.
Second, once combat in FSO has started, we don't let players relaunch after a disco because they could easily claim to have disco'd when they actually got shot down. Many have the integrity to not do it, but there are some who do not. We rely on the disco reconnect feature to allow a pilot back into his plane, but there are a limited number of slots available to be in use at the same time.

It's simple. FSO's, like scenarios are designed to be immersed in historical realism. That means it's almost always a one life event. You get killed, you're done. Bail out or ditch, you're done. There is an allowance in the first 15 minutes for discos and mistakes, but you must contact the CO of your side to re up. So your statement on no reups is childish and inaccurate.
There's nothing difficult to understand here.

It's all about Alpini. :ahand

because people who are less then forthright abused it, so its easier to have a no relaunch rule. since no one , but you, has a problem with it but you, id suggest you either accept it, or suck it up, francis!
im sure at some point years ago, the community decided that it was the right thing to do, so you're stuck with the rule, like it or not. id suggest you pm skuzzy and/or dale and see what they have to say about it. im sure they would be happy to give you a reasonable answer to your most reasonable questions. obviously no one else can appease you and you don't seem to want to let it go. when all else fails, go to the source.
P.S. you really need to get that caps lock button fixed, its very annoying to the rest of us.

If only that were the most annoying thing about his ranting.

Ok guys, the question has been answered. Feel free to continue discussing the topic, but let's lay off any further personal comments.

Before battle has begun, the fields stay open for the first 15 minutes and a disco can re-up anytime without asking. In fact, if you arrive after fields are open, as long as it's in the first 15 minutes and you show on the roster with a registered squad, you can take off no questions asked. From T+15 to T+30, as long as active combat hasn't begun, we will open your side's fields for a disco to re-up. Once combat has begun and enemy forces have inflicted damage, the fields will not be opened again.
Regardless of the rules and procedures we follow, the disco reconnect feature built into the game should put a disco'd player back into his plane no matter the time or status of the fields. I've seen many players be successfully put back into their plane, while other players might not. We do not control this feature's function, other that having the ability to enable or disable it for the whole arena. We have it enabled the whole time and never change it.
