It happened to day. Windows 10 forced its self on my computer. It was not consensual.  :cry

I had to go in and uninstall and block all updates for the windows 10 garbage so it wouldnt auto-install

If you blindly allow the Windows auto-updater to run, you have given consent for Windows 10 to be installed as it is now considered to be a regular update from Microsoft.

It is trivial to prevent that update from happening (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,71591.msg4998528.html#msg4998528).

I used to have my system auto updating but after a spate of having to roll back because the updates trashed my computer I started checking all updates before I installed.

All updaters should have this checkbox setting:

"If it ain't horribly and utterly broken, don't try to 'fix it' and make it worse".
