If all of that was done in-engine, holy sh2t!
If none of it... meh... show me something of the game.

The guys at Creative Labs so far seem to "get" Warhammer as well. Total War: Warhammer is looking very, very good.

My only complaint is compared to the DoW II trailer this looks cheap. Specifically the Space Marine proportions which imo were just right in that one. Still excited though. BFG has been fun so far and Deathwing looks amazing!

This announcement trailer is clearly of much better quality than the DoW II trailer/intro and perfectly captures the spirit and feel of the Warhammer 40K universe. The Space Marines conform to the new aesthetic from Games Workshop. They updated the miniatures a couple of years ago and the legs in particular were slimmed down a bit. I guess they've realized that the old style, while nice for still poses doesn't lend itself well to animation. Paul Leonard-Morgan did the score for this trailer and if he also makes the music for the game it will be nothing short of epic. DoW III will be the seventh 40K game Relic has made. All of which were excellent.

If you haven't seen the movie Ultramarines yet buy it. The Codex Astartes does not support theft. But if you don't know Warhammer 40,000 you probably won't like the movie.

The Blood Raven Chapter is of Magnus the Red's gene seed? A loyalist contingent of The Thousand Sons? You decide.

I don't know anything in 40K, but I always loved the 'look' of the protagonists, thrie armors and their vehicles. And come on ... who doesn't like orcs doing Orc stuff?

Yes the 40K universe is an interesting sci-fi take on the classic fantasy setting. Kind of a what if a fantasy world with orcs and elves progressed into a space faring era. Everything is appropriately gothic and dieselpunk.
