Usually, when I start AH from the desktop it stays a white window then crashes. When it actually does launch, it stays as a white window for longer than it would on another, older computer I have. Then, when I'm finally able to get on, my microphone usually just sends clicks. The clicking only occurs in AH, nothing else on my computer produces the same effect.

Please send a DxDiag output. Without knowing anything about your computer any guesses would be equally valid. You wouldn't like to hear it's because of extraterrestrial biorhythms being out of sync...

Like Bizman said, a DXDIAG output would go a long way to helping with this. It sounds like the game is struggling to acquire the resources it needs to run, but a DXDIAG output should help to unveil the issue(s).

My sincere apologies. The dxdiag .txt file should be attached.

If I understand you correctly, you actually have two questions there: One about crashing and another about microphone.
For the second one, the microphone issue, I have some ideas to check. You seem to have two sets of speakers, or headphones and speakers. Go to the game>Clipboard>Options>Preferences>Game sounds and triple check that the Microphone setting is the one your microphone is connected to. The device names in the drop down list can look confusingly similar. The click sound isn't actually connected to the microphone, it's the game sound of the tangent button and will be reproduced even without a mic.

You have a bit of an audio mess on your hands.
1) There is not native sound card/chip driver installed. The computer is using the generic audio driver from Microsoft, which is not meant for DirectSound games. This is also compounded by the post audio Razer driver. You really should get rid of that.
2) You have the NVidia audio driver installed and enabled. If you are not expecting to hear sound over a television speaker you must disable that driver/device.
Non-audio related.
1) Does the computer have two NVidia 950's installed? DirectX is seeing two of them.

Alright, it seems that I was able to fix my audio problem. Is there any way to fix the starting up issues?
-
Are there two NVidia 950's installed in the computer?
A fresh DXDIAG output might help.
When you say startup issues? Please be very specific and detailed as to what happens and when.

When AH starts up, it is a completely white screen and takes much longer to actually start up than it has on some older, slower computers that I have, and that's only if it actually does start. Usually the launch will result in the Windows "Program is not responding...checking for a solution" dialog box coming up. A fresh dxdiag has been included.

Are there two NVidia GTX 950 video cards in your computer? DirectX seems to think there is. If there is not, then you need to wipe the operating system and reinstall it. There is no good way to fix this problem, once it happens.
Still seeing the NVidia audio driver being active.

I believe a simple reinstall if the game without hires textures fixed my problem. Thank you for your help.
