Just thought I'd throw out there that Jason at VKB in the USA (he handles Canada as well) is fantastic to deal with, I picked up my VKB pedals through him a while ago and he handled even the brokerage stuff at the border with the shipping charge back then.  Their products are very, very solid, best pedals I have.  I have the Crosswinds too, I just prefer how these move, they are simpler and more fine motor skill (ankle) than gross (knee/leg) in terms of accuracy is all for me.

Blade here has a couple of the VKB high end sticks, and has posted some pretty impressive vids about their precision and workmanship.  While I eventually want to get their higher end stick that's coming (The Gunfighter) , I'll try this one out for sure as well.  Looks like the K12 grip from the Gladiator Pro will fit in the Gunfighter base as well.

Hey Gman...read your post and was wanting to view the videos you mentioned that blade has made. Could you let me know where to find them?

I pre-ordered the VKB Mk. IV pedals today. They will ship in June. I was never really comfortable with my Saitek pedals. The comments in this forum have convinced me to try the VKB pedals...Thanks Gman.

If you check through these you'll find the test videos Blade did comparing VKB sticks (he has 2 IIRC) to various other sticks he has.

You won't be sorry with the VKB pedals, there are a few of us here now that use them - very fine motor skill input, with no other pedals can I be as precise, plus there are very customizable in terms of how you set up the foot rests and pegs for your feet/width/etc.  The software is proprietary, but I didn't change or mess with a thing and it works 100% with every game out there in terms of flight sims, including ARMA3 and other stuff like that with flight/helo components.

Wow -- how can they sell that thing at $100?  It looks like it should cost way more than that.

Yes it is, he runs VKB distribution for North America as a side project - that's right from his email when I asked the same question.

I am very tempted by the Gladiator Pro Plus with the throttle.

I like the VKB pedals but they lack toe brakes.

Beware!  This stick has a dangerous advanced-technology look to it.  I'm not sure that it won't animate while you are sleeping, transforming into a deadly robot that will go out at night to conquer the neighborhood. . . .  :noid

I havent seen this at the U.S distributor site.  Prediction overwhelming demand and VKB might actually split this in two.
That trottle is the best off the shelf warbird throttle I have ever seen.

It seems the Gladiator is the flagship joystick for VKB.  I was going to order one today but I'm still on the fence because the lack of buttons on the Gladiator Pro compared to the CH Combat stick I'm using now.  Supposedly there are two more Gladiator sticks coming later this year, Gladiator Plus and Gladiator Pro Plus.

That's been my point, the flat base (like the Warthog type) sticks were all very short runs and you had to be watching their forums when they came out to get in on them.  The only sticks in production or the very large/wide base Gladiator and Gladiator Pro right now.  What I'm going to wait for is the ones like Blade has, flat base, with various sticks, I don't care which, I'll buy any/all of them.  I may even try the Gladiator Pro just to see how that stick gimbal mech is.  I doubt it'll replace my WH or CH right now tho - the others might...

I'm interested in the Gunfighter. http://www.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?t=1947 It looks like it will be a very nice stick, and it will have the ability to use the Warthog grip.

I haven't seen a whole lot of info on it, other than it is suppose to be released some time in 2016.

I've got the T-Rudders Mk IV and the pedals are awesome.  The only bad thing about VKB gear is the programming software, which sucks.

Got my Gladiator Pro Friday but was a lemon 'Died 1st Day'. Oh well my luck it happens, gonna have some problems with new products. In contact with Stratojet maybe they can send me the board controller for it and I can put it in myself.
The hour I did get to use it I found a few things I would change. I had to glue a rubber grommet from the hardware store onto the left hat switch to make it usable, you cant push it to the right its to low and obstructed. The Trigger button has a really loud click and the button in the front lower that I usually use for clipboard is a Shift button. My goal is to put my Warthog stick on it when the adapters become available.

"This stick appeals to beginners as well as experienced simmers
thanks to its real-world design. It's perfect for today's WWII simulators
like War Thunder, Rise of Flight, IL-2 Sturmovik and World of
Warplanes.
VKB has crafted a unique and cost effective option for

Only problems that I've heard of with either the Gladiator or Gladiator Pro have been some that have received broken or non-working sticks.  Luckily for me, my T-Rudders worked out of the box, have heard some with the T-Rudders Mk IV have had the same issues with receiving broken or non-working pedals.

It's a shame they couldn't name anything close to a sim.

CH has changed since the family sold it to some French industrial manufacturer.
