Title: First flight for Bf-109 at Virginia Beach's Military Aviation Museum

Going to the show Sunday and keeping my fingers crossed that she'll be flying again.

The CAF is offering P-51 rides, but the price is a bit beyond my means.  :(

I think there are three other 109s flying in the U.S. And only two original German made ones. An E-3 and a G-14. This one is a rebuilt Spanish Buchon, but a remarkably good looking one with a real DB under the hood!

Looks like they need some more practice starting it, but they're flying it right keeping it on the grass. On tarmac the 109 will kill you. Maybe not right away, but eventually.

Great to see another DB powered 109 flying again.

Now for me to be totally pedantic. That is a G-4 not a G-5 as stared in the video. Also the oil cooler is too deep - looks like it's from a K-4.

looks like a g14....I can be wrong....

They've made it look like an early Gustav, it's not a real G-anything.
