I hope it does get remade.

Isn't the Dambuster remake supposed to be out soon as well?

Haven't heard much about that one in a while. There was a big thing about it back when Jackson was finishing work on the Lord of the Rings, but it seemed to have fallen off the radar.

Supposedly there's also a new Midway in the works.

The Battle of Britain is the best film ever :old:

Not even close. Casablanca kills the BoB. In fact, I bet that the BoB didn't make it onto the top 250 list. It is certainly top 5 of aviation movies. You would be hard pressed to get everyone to agree as to which is the top out of even three with the BoB, Tora Tora Tora, and Midway as choices.

Now you've done it! I discovered Mosquito Squadron in on Amazon Prime.

A remake of BoB would be awesome.

Also, "Midway" was an awful film. My favorite part was when Heston was killed after crashing his F9F Panther.  :bhead

The movie uses about every piece of film from the PTO (even with Hellcats and Corsairs) and even clips from post WW2, including the clip I mentioned, where a Panther crashed into the back of a carrier attempting to land.

The same footage was also used in The Hunt For Red October.
