Its always better without the professional news commentary.
What "Dave" doesnt understand is just how fast those suckers are or he wouldn't be getting even as close as he is. Cause if that gator wanted him. He wouldn't stand a chance of getting away
The size is huge but doesnt surprise me. I think Fla IS Jurassic park in some ways. Down in the glades I've seen flies as big as golf balls
Oh. And for those of you with women's phones LOL

It's real. The gator has been an attraction at that golf course for years. I live east of Tampa, dead center of the state, and while gators that size or bigger aren't commonplace, they do exist. I've stumbled upon quite a few 11 ft.+ gators while fishing, canoeing etc. In my area most people don't consider a gator 'big' until it's at least 8 ft. in length.

10 miles north of me. The last man killed by a gator in Lakeland was a neighbor of mine about 10 years ago. Yet the animal freaks continue their protest of legalized hunts. People not from the area have no idea just how many of these lizards there are. If there is standing water, there is a gator nearby. And trust me, we have a lot of fresh water in Florida.

The subdivision I live in has numerous retention ponds and the all have gators. I don't particularly mind them but I have yet to see any larger then 5 feet.
