BBC show from the 60's actually, resyndicated on Commedy Central during the 90's, and still on PBS in some areas.

My personal favorite:

My personal favorite they used to show is Upright Citizens Brigade.  Amy Pollard's best work, way better than SNL

Monty Python was a Sunday night staple in Chicagoland.  Came on 10 or 11 PM on the public television channel 11.  This was early 70's thru the mid-90's.

I loved that show.  :aok

Yes: WTTW. I used to watch it every week. Later, in the 80's, there used to be Dr. Who after Monty Python. This was in the Tom Baker years. I well remember summers home from college. I'd pour a nice G&T, perhaps enjoy some other indulgence, and watch  a little Dr. Who.

Ah, no responsibilities... I'd say those were the days but, if those were still the days, I'd still be working to get to today instead of being at today, which, imj, is better in a lot of ways.

Anyway, Monty Python has fighter pilot banter. I still use the phrase "monkeys on the ceiling" now and again in-game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myIB1TrPpTE (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myIB1TrPpTE)
