New version up (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,379611.0.html)!
Please use this thread to post errors/issues with the Patch 22 DX9 version of the Aces High III Beta. Thank you.

No problems as of yet, working pretty nicely! Did see a terrain issue? It seems that field A1 is Texas? Or victim of "Global Warming"? Its a bit under water. Other than that,it looks great, GUYS!

Downloaded and installed fine. Frame rates same as previous patches.
Vehicle hangers at airbases and ports appear to be pulling textures from the wrong part of the texture "Atlas" (i.e. the big texture file). Example at A54 attached. Not all are the same; they mess up in different ways and one I checked might have been right (forgot to write it down). The VHs at vehicle bases I checked all appeared proper. (CraterMA offline, same seen online as well.)

Down loaded and installed fine. Still can not get LVT to transition from water to land. GV's do now run into the water.
Crater MA map, base A1 is flooded as mentioned by 1stpar3.

a pink square around the cursor.

CrateMA
Gun pits and the 88 skins are not rendering correctly.

Delete the "cursor.bmp" file from the Beta installation folder. The patcher is supposed to remove that file. Did you patch?

In the online arena Greebo'sMA, there's an odd body of water next to field A2. It has striations like you would see if you flew too far off the map. Screenies attached.

Ran Updater Patch Beta 21 to 22 w\o a hitch.
Both versions opened online and offline w\o a hitch.
Beta 22 Dx9 version FPS is the same as Beta 21 Dx9 version (both 21 and 22 Patches @ 71 FPS on runway, 80 FPS in flight both smooth)
Will continue testing.................

17lber textures are sometimes wrong. (PS- thanks for adding negative elevation, i.e. a bit of depression, to 17lbers, 88mm, and 37mm.)
LVT wake appears to be under water below the LVT (see attached image).

The Ki-61 does not have a pilot in the cockpit when seen in external view.

Among the "tips" displayed while load bar is active - " use ' to give a check six "
May want to update this tip now that the key is default for activate/deactivate mouse control for flight.

I have seen this to have screen shots.

All ready fixed for next patch.

Updated fine from patch 19, all three updates.
CraterMA, 109 G-6 still getting smoke in the cabin during start. Most likely all of the planes where feet can be stuck under the gauge panel suffer from the same issue.
Further in the G-6 I noticed a block between the pedals. Most likely it's where it should be, but my concern is where the light comes from. To me it looks like there's a hole outside the window pane.

The box is the cover for the MG151\20 recoil buffer housing aft of the receiver. You got a 20mm between your knees.
-
Thanks Bustr. I thought it might be of some importance. Now where does the light come from?

Mostly from this variable.
rendshdrSetPointW(&glbVectorToSun_REG, &VecToSun);

We have not put one in yet.

Ah, ok. That explains it.

Just reread some tech about the MG151\20E in the Bf109s. Part of the overall recoil buffering was that the barrel short recoiled back inside of the receiver. So the star washer mounted at the front of the barrel was there to keep the barrel aligned inside of the blast tube so there would be no perceivable play while the barrel slid inline to the engine's zero line. The barrel could be unlocked and unscrewed from the receiver and pulled out through the blast tube. And then the receiver dismounted from the engine adapter and pulled out through the cockpit for cleaning or replacement of either component.

This is still a bug that needs to be fixed. Flying with vsync off and getting 150-200+ fps, when flying low over tree's getting 150+fps, same when flying over enemy small bases and vehicles bases. As soon as I dive in from 10k drop bombs and fly out of a large base, FPS drop to 30-40, then remaining at tree level as I fly away FPS shoots back up to 150+.
Hope this is fixed soon.

I just took off from Rook Base A2. There is a square body of water there that does not look correct. Has thousands of straight lines running thru it. Check it out. Kimosabe
