UPS is one of the best airlines to work for. You fly two weeks out of the month, they pay is very high, and you don't have to deal with passengers. Some of the nightly flights are a bit long though (Louisville, KY to Anchorage, AK, then another crew flies the cargo to China).

My mil retirement is this Thursday. My schedule has been busy so I ended up scheduling my class 1 medical exam late and can't get that done until next week, otherwise I would have applications in to the airlines already. The blue ID card is the retiree ID.

Grats and well earned.

Congrats eagl :)

Well done! :aok

Airlines blow. UPS schedule blows. Come fly for me, 1 week on, 1 week off playing AH at work while waiting for a call. $67K starting for working a 1/4 of the year, home every night if you live in Elko, NV. :D

Thanks guys. I'm just hoping I get picked up in time to keep making my mortgage payments. Goose said truckmasters is hiring, might need that... Might deliver pizzas, if that pays more then unemployment.

What are you doing, and where? I'm in Vegas and what I need the most is current multi time, the bigger the airplane the better. Part 135 time would be ideal since my current career goal is a job with a major airline in the next year or so, but I'm told that since I have about 2500 hrs and about 1900 PIC, mostly I need recent hours since I've been stuck in RPAs for a while.

If you like to fly at 30-40k go for it.
