WTF are you on about?

India is one of the few countries to send a probe to Mars, which they did a few years ago.  They have launched many rockets.

They also have nuclear missiles.

As to charity, I am not sure about the UK, but the US .gov no longer gives financial help to India.  We stopped when India started giving foreign aid to countries poorer than itself.

£1.4 billion in aid from the UK.

Is someone in the UK making coin out of this?

1.4 billion pounds from some of wealthiest people in the world should come with a low interest rate.  :old:

I like their food.

Especially the Indian food invented in the UK (chicken tikka masala).

Maybe it has something to do with how Britain exploited the said country in the past? Considering how bad it was, no amount of money is going to make up for it.

You can thank us and the whole "Candu" Canadian reactor technology for "peaceful purposes" we "sold" India for the payloads on those ICBMs.  Boooo.  Well, the USA did supply the heavy water for the reactor, but they mostly benefited from the Canadian designed and supplied reactor which produced the weapons grade plutonium.  I'm sure it seemed like a swell idea at the time.

In a rainbows and puppy dogs world, wouldn't it be swell if we put the $ we put into ballistic nuclear weapons into our space exploration?  Space.com is my favorite site, and I could spend all day reading and talking about SpaceX and other endeavors.  Nations like India, China, and so on, I'm happy to see them spending $ on space tech that isn't 100% military related.

I wish you were at the Newspace conference in Seattle that just concluded.  It was excellent.
