I'm in a repetitive loop.
Every time I try to go online, I'm getting the message that my version is out of date.
I click OK
The download flashes but then I'm back at the clipboard without the install routine
No patch is showing in my Beta folder

First time entering the tower the video memory display in DX9 was different than in DX11. My graphics card has 2G.
DX9 - VidMem 4037.0M Used 850.3M
DX11-VidMem 1989.7M Used 838.5M

Before patch 30, you might want to update the update message from 27 and 28.
Otherwise, everything is looking good. :bolt:

Update downloads and installs properly, but when I attempt to run the DX9 version it fails with: "The procedure entry point K32EnumProcessModules could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll".
E8400, 8GB RAM, HD7870 2GB, WinXP sp3 32bit
Edit: the following from MSDN may or may not be relevant:
DLL:
Kernel32.dll on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2;
Psapi.dll (if PSAPI_VERSION=1) on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2;
Psapi.dll on Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, and Windows XP
(Does this imply this procedure is not in Kernel32.dll on Windows XP but instead in Psapi.dll?)

I don't know if this has already been reported, but there seems to be a bug with damages to bomber groups. I'm not sure it's entirely consistent, but two specific things I've seen frequently are that hitting just one of the drones (from a fighter) can cause damage to that drone and the lead bomber, and that hitting just the lead bomber can cause damage or death to both drones -- the same damage at exactly the same time, even though neither was hit -- and continued hits on the lead can bring it down, so three kills within a second or two. (This seems to only apply to fighter fire; ack and flak seem to hit them one at a time, as expected.)

Also, tested with Hanzup, (I was using DX11) carefully lined up on specific area of left B29 drone first pass and damaged left drone only. 2nd pass lined up on right B29 drone and hit specific area and damage carried through to center B29 lead. Lined up on left B29 drone on third pass and damage exploded drone, also some damage to the same targeted area carried through to the center B29 lead (but did not explode).
This is to my best recollection, the drone reported may have been reversed.
I went to check film and another filmviewer bug appeared: Only the lead bomber was present in the film. Drones were not shown even though chat buffer shows one was "shot down".

I have a pink square around my mouse cursor.
I can't see any of the yellow text in the hanger when I have shadows off. When I have shadows on, they are very jagged and the cockpit is too dark. Maybe the hanger text should be a different color.
Is there a way to make tracers brighter?
I saw the lead bomber in a friendly formation fly backwards for a bit.
The aircraft icons should be dots like ah2, not directional indicators.
The new ki and tbm are nice.

What version are you currently? Are you attempting to upload from the file or auto updater? According to Skuzzy, the autoupdater will patch from 27 to 29, and since I had 28 it also works for that too.

Pretty sure the auto-update happens when you log in to any on-line arena. Message that says "your version is ou of date. Would you like to update now"? I think anyway

Instead of down loading the new patch, I down loaded the full patch, it worked.

I finally put ahskview.exe into the Avira exception (allowable) list and the full update worked flawlessly.
Celebrating the obvious!

That's correct. I've done all the updates since about 20 that way without a problem.

I was playing around with GVs in crater and noticed a sound like wind our surf when in an LVTA2 or 4 when stopped with the engine off. I usually did not hear it until I had driven a few hundred feet from the hangar. At first I thought it was surf or waves at a port but I did not hear it in the same spots in an M8 or T34. I also heard it at inland vehicle and air bases. Heard the sound in LVTAs in every case but not in tank or M8. It was fairly loud like a 40mph wind in trees.

Exhaust smoke coming through the fuselage and firewall on start up in A6M's an 109's. The glass where the sights (HUD) are, are dark, hard to see the enemy planes.

There is a curb in town that vehicles are getting stuck on. when you cross the bridge with metal frame work which has gun on right as you cross there is a house on the left that tanks are continually getting stuck on.

Back beta 27 I ran around a town on CraterMA in an M8 until I got stuck on a curb. It is probably this curb at that town. Town is an object that will have the same curb at every town object of that kind on a map.

game keeps crashing I can get into greebo map but when killed throws you out on the water and you cant do anything

After bailing in DX11 the same thing happened maybe. I listed the error codes and event viewer information in the DX11 thread.

here is video of whats happening in ah3 with getting killed and thrown out in water did a p.save but not sure where to find it. film is long but shows you back in tower but in game its a lake.

You don't have to be killed. I just drove an M8 out of the hangar, ended the sortie, and was in the lake. Had to alt F4 to get out.

Just got back into Crater arena after the lake end sortie issue was fixed. FPS significantly lower than before with no change in settings. Before driving a GV I was seeing FPS 0f 70-90. Now lucky to get 60. In a plane before FPS of 120+. Now 80 to 90.

When I try to run DX11 I get a "missing VCOMP120.dll" message. Where do I find this download and where do I place it. Thanks

Fixing issues like that by yourself isn't recommended. Reporting about is the desired way to go. Since that is a bug in the game, HiTech wants to know about it and fix it for all players. More than that, fixing it by downloading something of that kind may cause other issues with the game at a later stage.

I went to V148 and took out an M3. I ended the sortie and went to A48 and manned an LA7.
I was unable to take off as I had no throttle power. The engine would not go to full power.
I had to end the sortie and restart in the LA 7 to take off.
This is the third time this has happened.
I have observed pilot(s) reporting control lock ups when closely engaging another pilot. This is reminiscent of that lock ups that I used to experience some patches ago. For me the lockups are nil, although I have received the "don't move controls so rapidly" and frozen stick movements (when I was making forced stall movements = sharp joystick and rudder controls).
In GullGutz's case he reports having to end sortie in order to regain full control of his inputs from the start of a sortie. This is something that I have also experienced on occasion.
