Who plays? I need a trainer. Just D loaded it.
-
I used to play it alot years ago but I rarely login anymore.
Pretty much spawn, run, get shot, die, respawn, run, get shot, die...etc,etc.
Then spawn tank, get blown up by overpowered infantry AT, die, respawn, get killed by aircraft....etc,etc.
Then spawn aircraft, crash, die, respawn aircraft, get shot down by overpowered infantry AA, die.

I do, although I haven't in a few months in favor of Elder Scrolls Online.
Check out this guy's videos for the best tutorials, as detailed as how to use specific weapons in the game, or in-general how to play and how to play better:

I highly recommend doing the tutorial continent to completion, nice rewards and teaches you essential knowledge.
After that, make sure to join an outfit. At first, pick whatever large outfit you see online the most. After a while, feel free to leave and join an outfit that fits your playstyle more.
As for which faction to play, they're largely balanced now, although the players will swear up and down their own faction sucks and the others are better:
- Vanu Sovereignty (VS, purple, futuristic) has more specialized options, good for having the best weapon in specific situations, while being on-par in regular situations. Many VS weapons don't have bullet drop, because they're lasers, but are less effective in some way to compensate.
- New Conglomerate (NC, blue and yellow, "Space 'Merica") has slower-firing harder-hitting weapons with high recoil. If you can manage recoil in shooters, you should like them. They also tend to have more shotguns.
- Terran Republic (not to be confused with "terrain republic", the OP faction composed of trees and buildings that has never lost a fight with an aircraft) (TR, red, "space-fascists") has faster-firing weapons with larger magazines, but hit less hard.
- Each faction has a large variety of weapons that are cloned for each faction, and that isn't even counting "Nanite Systems" (NS) weapons, that are identical for all factions.
My advice is to start off playing medic, they earn good certs and are good for learning the game. Infiltrator requires the most skill to learn to play well, I'd avoid them for a while.

So hurried last post a bit because a severe thunderstorm was blasting lightning everywhere and I wanted to get my stuff unplugged.
Anyways, one more thing. Shameless links of a gameplay video and a couple compilations I made:
