When nothing is going on in your country and you look on the map to see this:

You might be inclined to switch countries to get in on the action. Trouble is though, that fight may be completely lopsided and you have no way of knowing until you make the six hour commitment.
What I wish is for the darbar colors to match the clipboard enemy colors. That would help me make a more informed decision.

I second this wish....

Interesting. :headscratch:

Don't forget the ability to change their color separately. Example: Nit Country Blue/Dar Orange, Bish Country White/Dar Red. :aok

Would be nice to have.
Red/Green colorblind, Snuggie? I use very similar colors. :)

Proposed this exact thing for the exact same reason years ago...

The way the radar and dar bar works now is my team=green, not my team=red. If you had the colors correspond to team colors, it would help two teams gang up on the third team. That's a pretty serious downside.
Besides, sometimes you get all three teams fighting at the same base. It's pretty funny watching a red icon shooting at another red icon.
-
I'd be okay with this....
-
Perhaps even a checkable option for those that really don't mind seeing nme dar lumped into one?

I normally ask on 200 to see which side is lopsided so when I switch over I'm fighting the horde....this would save a step.

So you're the one who uses the braille at the drive-thrus and ATMs!

I can see this helping some decide if they want to oppose a strat or HQ raid. Three bars would be rather cluttering visually. It might need three colors of dashes or ticks. The more likely unintended consequence is it will influence the timid to jump to the safer large numbers side in a fight when the country they are in can only take undefended bases. How this will work during low numbers will not be how this will work during peak play time.
If you do searches on Hitech from 2000 forward, he has a constant theme of not introducing the ability to help players choose to imbalance the game, willfully or innocently. You can look at the roster to see country numbers at a glance and from experience know reasonably what the darbars mean if the fight is inconvenient from your nearest fields.
In AH3 if a plane is in your radar you will now get a mini fighter or mini bomber instead of a dot. You will also see a mini GV icon for GV's from your side. You also can get the DT command as a menu dropdown for any field by right clicking on it's icon.
Just wait, some day our game may "wished" into how well you arrange your ACM action cards and stack them into the delivery queue for your fighter's AI to fight for you. There will be a macro recorder you run while in fights to create your maneuvering cards. The krupinski tumble would be all you see in the arenas for ACM along with the skyyr HO money shot as everyone's gunnery action card...... :O

Just started a groundbreaking new art medium - braille social justice graffiti!

You could have a whole braille wall down here in Wynwood, or out West in LA's Art District!

While I agree with this idea, it is not historically accurate. Hell, even nowadays radar can't simply tell the difference between friend or foe. Not without IFF. The only thing a more advanced radar can do is tell what type the aircraft is, maybe. While I do like this idea, it is a step in the more gamey direction. Maybe that is a good thing, I don't know.
