Title: Freespace
Post by: Volron on July 14, 2016, 02:05:45 AM
So far Blue Planet is AWESOME! :rock My only complaint is they didn't get around to voicing War in Heaven Act 3. :( Maybe if (hopefully WHEN) they finish Act's 4 and 5, they'll voice 3, as well as 4 and 5.
It is also my hope that the author of the Freespace MOD for Homeworld Remastered will get around to adding Blue Planet ships and the soundtrack. Would kill to use them in a command perspective. :x
Here is a track that really stuck with me:
I also noticed they had revamped the FS2 Campaign using Blue Planet modifications. I'm DEFINITELY going to be running through it to see how it pans out. :joystick:

I've played Freespace for nearly 20 years now. Still Amazing game how they've modified it. Blue Planet is one of the most incredible campaigns.

It doesn't look anything like that now. Example: That video shows AH1. What I saw when I went through that mission earlier this week, is AH3. :D
The amount of detail put into the ships, words alone don't do it justice. Examples: After Koth rams the Repulse into Colossus, I decided to get a close look at Colossus. There are so many spots you can fly into now, that you just could NOT get through in the original (stupid invisible walls :bhead). Flew into the fighter bay. :D The "trench" on the Hades now has gaps on either side you can get into and fly down as well. I didn't check to see how far into the fighter bay I could get though. Didn't cross my mind until just now. :o

Took a slight search, but eventually found it. The 2nd half of Delenda Est!

EDIT: I forgot, there is a bit of language in it. So I dropped it down to link.
