Post by: mutha on July 28, 2016, 11:54:54 PM
Came across an interesting web site about a South African P-40 pilot who flew in North Africa. It's http://saafww2pilots.yolasite.com/eric-johnson.php (http://saafww2pilots.yolasite.com/eric-johnson.php).

All his dead friends in the photos is a testament to just how lucky he was to survive the war flying that deathtrap against the Germans...

That he flew the P-40 knowing it was inferior to the enemy he was going to engage in combat is also a testament of his bravery as well.
