Another player and I PM'ed each other after we ran into to each other coming around a berm. I got the kill more out of luck than anything but I have missed more than one GV when we were just about on top of each other. We both concluded we were too close.
What is the proper range setting when the target is very, very close? Zero seems right but that does not always work often times showing some kind of ground hit.

I too have noticed that if you're too close, rounds don't seem to have any effect..

That makes at least three of us.

I think the tank rounds didn't arm until they had rotated a certain number revolutions in the air after being fired.

In FPS like COD or CSGO I aim high on target to get a head shot which causes more damage.....carrying that over to Aces High I normally aim at the line of the top of the turret in order to get the round to hit the turret to get more chance to get a kill or to disable the enemy tanks turret.
:salute

Some AP rounds are just a hunk of steel. No "arming" and at the muzzle it's as fast as it's going to get.

I shot an m3 yesterday with a tank ap round point blank and missed. The m3 was sitting still.

HE works better on M3's. Get close and they go boom.

Can you take a few screenshots offline of what your target picture looks like before you fire, and then showing the where your round is hitting afterward?
