Haven't seen that name in awhile. :salute
Most likely it's your settings somewhere.
-
Tied to log in again 15 minutes ago and got whitescreen too, both with DX9 and DX11. Worked fine 3 hours ago, no settings were changed.
-
I just went into CraterMA and all was as it should be. I'm in California.
-
After repeated tries, it's now working again
-
:aok

Had a whitescreen again immediately at startup, twice. After rebooting my computer it worked again.
But I may be on to something. I think both yesterday and today I was playing DCS Flaming Cliffs 3 just before AH. Maybe some process had been left up by DCS which gave AHIII some trouble... I may take a deeper look at it.

Do I remember right that your video card is on the weaker side? If so, that would be a common denominator with the OP. And if he's got some process left up by something, too, well, that might be an exclamation.
It might also be because of video card audio as was the case in http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,380523.0.html (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,380523.0.html)

GTX 950. The best thing my money could buy :D

In 14 July there was an update to the Nvidia drivers which may have placed your HDMI audio drivers in a state of confusion, as it were. You can disable HDMI audio, or do a clean install of the drivers and then disable the HDMI audio (if you are not using HDMI audio). Or . . .

I had the same issue yesterday, after playing DCS. I'm done with that now ;)

Found solution for me. The gamma was all the way up. slid it down and I can see again. Can slide it all the way up and still see...but initial setting made it unusable.
-
Are you guys importing your AH2 settings using the option in AH3?
-
I have not imported any settings from AHII. The gamma setting in AHIII changed itself on update from the previous version of AHIII Beta. Settings always stayed consistent version to version...only change...I have been playing X-Plane(latest version). Maybe it changed a setting on my graphics card?

:airplane: When I went into AH3 this morning, screen was all white, with a few little pink dots here and there! checked my graphic's setting and gammar was all the way to right, adjust it and picture was just fine then. I didn't move it, but something sure did!

No, I skipped that option.
The whitescreen only came after playing DCS, but not always. But since I updated my Nvidia graphics card driver yesterday, it did not happen again.

There was an NVidia driver with some bugs in it. It was a couple of NVidia versions back.
-
Skuzzy...FYI...I am running NVidia driver 365.19 from 13 May 2016...now 4 versions old! For a GTX970. Will update.

Wow! Nvidia is having problems as of late. I have always stuck by them. Seems like they got caught up in a Volkswagen type lawsuit and recently were ordered to pay up to US customers for the claiming the 970 rated 4GB or memory when it was revealed that it only could access 3.5GB. Figures, I own a Volkswagen also and have been happy with both.
Maybe good news for AH3 though as they seem to be dropping prices for some of their later cards. Better check those prices though, as not all retailers may follow suit (no pun intended).
