If it's an HD tv then I would use 1920 x1080,or the native resolution!

If it's a 4K tv,that vidcard isnt quite up to the job!

Set game resolution to 1920x1080 and set video card to same. I would find the proper driver for your TV so the vidcard doesnt use just a generic driver, which can cause resolution changes on boot up!

I use a LG HDTV,with generic drivers it will default to 1600x 1200 for some reason, once I installed the correct driver it stays at the resolution I have it set to which is 1980x1080.

  hope that helps!

Also go in to your TV's video type options and select PC instead of using HDTV, or any hdmi1, hdmi2, hdmi3 etc video options

Not sure how old or what all the different types of connections you have available on the back of it....

My 65" Samsung 4K curved screen SUHDtv has like 4 HDMI, 2 USB, 1 DVI, 2? S-Video and other different video connection types and several different audio connection types

I found selecting the PC video type, works better than using any of the other options

Hope this helps

Nvidia Control Panel should have an area in the Change Resolution for HD, SD, and below that a PC resolution section. Maximum Digital Resolution is 2560x1600 and VGA of 2048x1536 for your video card, but only the HDTV (full HD model) of the Bravia can get to 1080p. Every model of Bravia supports some resolution that allows 60Hz.

Are you using a D-sub or HDMI connector?

Welcome to the land of Bravia. see signature

I have not set mine up in awhile so I'm gonna be sketchy.
The TV HDMI port you use is important. Stay off the port set up for mobile devices.
I use HDMI 2. TV settings, you should have options here. Which type of wide yada yada. Also theres a option called game mode.......... so you might need some adjustments here?????

I had been using GTX 260's in SLI, it worked fine. Used the pc connect on an older Bravia, use HDMI current Bravia both worked. You might need to use an older driver. I was using game ready ver 330.????? Anything after only benefited newer hardware.
Select only native resolution! If you loaded a current issued driver, DSR could be messing with you. Make sure game video res is native res. U should be able to handle high res textures in game?????????????????

Earlier posts pretty much covered it, I just chimed in cuz I use a Bravia, it will work for you once adjusted.

Also something I ran into.
I changed my vid card, I changed it using the HDMI port on my Bravia. Now on reboot with new card in place, certain things are registered/recognized whatever. What happened is I lost the analog sound ports on my mobo, windows blanks them because its been decided that you are gonna use and need digital only, and that digital is provided by the video card. I discovered that I needed to install that vid card with an analog monitor, then switch over after the fact.
Your 260 has a 2 wire cable that plugs mobo directly to vid card, if you want HDMI audio from that card........................

MADe I don't think the 260 provides DSR, since it is only supported for the 450 and up (and I suggest a 580 or better).

I mentioned because its in my drivers but your prolly right, older drivers not gonna have. Would it load DSR stuff if card not compatible?

It should not even be an option for a 200 series card.
