This week in my Aces High voting booth, I am running a question about the new night-time HTC incorporated into AH.

"Do you think the nights in Aces High are long enough and frequent enough?"

Time goes realtime (I think) up to 18:30. It then jumps to 05:30 and goes up to 18:30 again.

The sunset begins at about 18:00 and the sunrise ends at about 6:00, but its only about 20 min before and after time reset that the lighting starts to be a challenge (for spotting vehicles, etc).
The total pitch black last just in the minutes around the reset. Maybe 10 minutes in total.

Try go offline, hop into a plane and type ".time 18 00 50", this will give you a good idea how night and day shifts. (Speed multiplide with 50)

OK Mickey, I've heard others express the same feelings about the registration.

I have now switched the booth to control by IP address, and removed the registration requirements.  If it makes more people want to vote, I guess it's for the better.
