You will grow up to be farmer...you in farm class...now get on simulator and plant 5000 acre soybean...NOW!!!!
Your rows are too close...crop failed....you bring great shame...now you get cage....
-
Why not?
To my eyes it looks just as usable than any other controller box with lots of buttons and pots, the main issue being to memorize what each one does.
Modern tractor controllers are more and more kin to those used in aeroplanes, they might even come from the same production line.

I need to check some unboxing videos to see if the stick is analogic, and how the wheel is like for throttle control
-
Well I guess it could be ideal if you like picking......
Seriously though, the joystick is very short so even if it has proportional output it will be less sensitive to hand movements than a proper flight sim joystick.

I think you may be correct but if you use the JS as a trim controller it will do all 3 axii,it can actually do 6 axii, with 25 programmable buttons you could all but eliminate the need for key board commands and only use the KB for text!
It says it will seemlessly work with MSFS so I see no reason why it wouldnt work well in AH. The price is reasonable,I may have to consider this in the near future!
:salute
PS: Nice find Nuke!

Umm... don't you think that a long time player like SirNuke doesn't already have a proper flight sim joystick? From the OP I got the impression that the farm stick would be an addition to an existing setup.
-
My bad, didn't read the OP properly.

Indeed I was looking to replace my x65f throttle which has numerous buttons compared to the only combat throttle I could find, the CH pro. I would use the little stick for trimming if the knob left to itcan be used for throttle
-
Nuke if you read the specs, you could use the JS for both!
1 mode for trim, press top button and be in another mode and use as a throttle, that would let you use the left wheel/button for zoom or RPM....... :devil
I'm seriously considering this,if you get one keep us advised on it plz!

maybe when the paycheck comes we'll see, then the parcel will have to cross the pond :airplane:

That controller might work well especially in the Iljushin Il-2 Sturmovik, which was nicknamed "The Farming Machine" at least on our fronts.
-
I thought "Farming" was a software techical term :rofl
I clicked on link and there is a Tractor sim :rofl
Why would anyone play a cartoon machine on a PC and spend lots of money on joysticks and graphics cards etc? :rofl
:huh
:)
:(
:rofl
I wonder what people in the real world think of us? :rofl
Do people on the tractor sim have rage quite?
-

I think the Leopard II Commanders controller makes more sense.
