SO, not a discussion, which do I buy at this date, for a new build, with X99 chipset hardware.

Windows 10 Ultimate, 64 bit

Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit

I would suggest searching for "Windows 10 anniversary update" and read about it.  Make a decision based on what you find.

Asking for an opinion, about an operating system here, is just going to start an emotional flamefest.

No offense MADe, but I am preemptively locking this thread.  Nothing good will come by leaving it open.
