Title: DX ?

I been kind of waiting for the commercial release.
But when it comes do I want DX9 or DX11 ver, or is the DX ver an option within AH3?
I am DX11 ready/capable.

The game defaults to whichever version is typical for the OS you're running. Generally, if your system is capable of it, you should run the DX11 version.

The only time you should run the DX9 version of AH3 is if you're running Windows XP or have a video card that isn't DirectX 11 compatible.

DX11 is causing a lot of lock ups for a lot of folks online.


It is installed native on their desktop.

I suggest to them to run DX9 like I have been, and the lockups stop.

(I average 1 hard lock every 30 min on DX11, DX9 has yet to lock up.)

Ran 3 hours strait saturday on DX11 without an issue.

I run DX11 all the time without major problems. Tonight rolled a jeep on a hill and couldn't stop tumbling even at the bottom of the hill. Was able to"end sortie" though. Had 1 instance taking off in b26's the screen switched to the splash screen, alt tabbed out and back in, never lost my drones.
