Have to turn off Post Lighting to see the panel. When I do it dumps anti-alias.
Would like to see these settings independent if able. :salute

What happens when you disable everything else except AA?

The dials still look fuzzy.

MSAA/TXAA please. :pray

AA is what is making the dials fuzzy.

AA is what is making the dials fuzzy.
It doesn't in AH2.
So the panel in AH2 is sharp and the airplanes look smooth. In AH3 they are either both smooth/fuzzy or panel sharp = airplanes pixelated.
So decouple AA from PL and decouple the panel from the skin.
All I know is that Post Lighting makes the panel too dark to see but turning it off makes the external views of the plane look bad.

The guages in AH3 are blurry because it uses a different type of Anti Aliasing than AH2. AH2 used SMAA I believe? While the new version uses FXAA.. the difference is SMAA smoothes edges, while FXAA seems to just put a blur effect over edges to make them appear smooth.
As you can imagine FXAA is much less GPU intensive than SMAA, but it doesn't look nearly as nice.

One of the reasons I use SweetFX is that I can disable AA in game and have SweetFX use SMAA anti-aliasing instead.

This I gotta hear about...

Blurry is what any AA scheme will do, but that's the whole point.
If this is a problem for you then please post a screen so HTC can see what is happening.

No, it's NOT the whole point and it doesn't happen in AH2. The panel in AH2 looks just FINE with AA on. In AH3 it becomes dark and difficult to see with many details disappearing completely depending on FOV.
This is an AH3-only issue.
In order to get panel clarity in AH3 equal (or at least close enough) to AH2 one must disable all Post Lighting effects. This disables AA.
Please don't condescend those of us trying to explain this issue as if we are a bunch of noobs who don't know what we are talking about. :salute
