I got to see the Reno Air Races in person years back, up close and personal, as a family friend was racing a Pitts bi-plane. While it was the most deadly year in recent memory (I saw more than a few pilots lose their lives from the flight line) it was also the most awe inspiring experience of my life. Red Bull has NOTHING on Reno.
