Title: AI warings

When the new AI butler says, "they are engaging our fields", or "the base is under attack" -- what does it mean?  I guess "our fields" means any friendly field is newly flashing.  What does "the base" mean -- the nearest base, the base I took off from?

And where did the nice lady go?

All those alarms mean the same: A (any) friendly base has just newly come under attack (=started to flash).
