Title: please disable strat between 3 am and 3 pm eastern

this late night nmilkrunning is rediculous

sometimes i wanna log on during teh day and furball a bit , but with 13 ppl on each side and no radar anywhedre you cant find a fight

strat is fun at night when the arena is full and you can expect opposition. milkrunning when theres 30 ppl online is just lame.

Post by: SOB on July 19, 2001, 01:28:00 PM: That's an aweful idea, IMO. Overseas guys, and those of us who are able to fly during the day (read: unemployed slobs) shouldn't be restricted in what they/we can do in the arena. How about figuring out a way to boost the number of overseas players?

We can have multiple servers. One in the US, one in Europe, one in Africa, and one in Russia.

We can call them "game worlds" and integrate them into one "world"...

Post by: popeye on July 19, 2001, 01:36:00 PM: Add extra (and more potent) AI ack to the strat targets, and make it proportional to a country's pilot numbers. Fewer pilots = more ack.

This would prevent off hours milk runs, and tend to equalize numbers a bit during heavy use time.

Why? Methinks when dar is down,we all use better SA. We look before we attack, we watch our 6's constantly, and we are always scanning the horizon for bogeys. I find myself doing better with no dar then with it because I'm alert, and ready to engage at all times. Next time you have no dar...check yourself out, and see if the same happens to you!
