Title: Strange Black Screen

I think I may have posted this in he wrong forum originally. While in a tank close to V58 screen went completely black except for: Text buffer which continued to update, clipboard, and memory use info. etc. at top. Names showed for vox. when players transmitted. I could open and close radio. I could speak over vox to other players. But all the scenery and other in-game images were replaced with a black screen. Ctrl-alt- Del and cancel changed nothing. .ef gave me a safe landing even though there were enemy GVs and planes near by and I found myself in tower A6 (nowhere near the field I spawned from) and had normal view again. My first reaction was that it was my video card but then why would I still see the text, clipboard, etc.

Also almost every time I'm in the game the view changes to the arena selection screen at least once in mid-play. I can get back to the normal view using CTRL-ALT-DEL and then cancel.

Same thing has happened to me; I had posted it in the beta forum.

I assume you were in DX9? If so next time see if an ALT TAB in and out fixes the issue.

Mine was DX9.
