I don't have info on the who or where, I just came a cross this diorama and thought at first it was colorized photographs from the war. Talk about talent and patience!

That is excellent.
The best diorama work I've seen was a from a guy who specialized in Iranian Air Force subjects with a complete tarmac and hangar area. His photos looked so real that some actually turned up in DOD briefs on the real Iran Air Force.

I think the grainyness (sp?) of the images helps sell it.

That is amazing attention to detail on that model.....wow.
It reminds me of the tiny airport in Germany that just looks amazing.
At 3:35 in this video when the tug is pushing the plane back I swear it looks real. Just incredible.
