DX9 online melee flying 109G14 engine damaged then got this message in text buffer. You can see message in screenshot but message doesn't appear in film.
"EVENT/default/RadialProp/Engine is not stopping after timeout"
Also this plane has inline engine and message is for radial. The engine sounded like a radial while flying it.

Had a bug similar to this back in pre-release patch 2.

Never seen a message like this before?

Reads like the old creeping tank bug. I wonder if that's what people outside your tank heard?

I get those error messages quite frequently after alt-tabbing out of the game and back in.
ack-ack

Cannot duplicate this here, if you can duplicate it, please post how you did it and steps to recreate the error.
Also, Drane - I believe your error had to do with the f4U or B17s that were on the film.

It seems related to Alt-Tabbing out of the game somehow. I had Alt-Tabbed out of the game prior to the 109 engine being damaged but the message came right after the engine was damaged/stopped.
For example, during a takeoff run had to Alt-Tab out and when came back plane was in the air with "trumble failed to stop" event message. Suspect that is the sound of plane rolling down runway. This same message happened 2x, once in a P51 and once in a mossie 6. Maybe that can be duplicated?

For me, I can duplicate it around 95% of the time running the DirectX 11 version.
Steps to replicate:
Alt+tab out of game and then Alt+tab back into game.
Results are the error messages that others have shown in screenshots.

Tried to duplicate this and it didn't work. Then later sitting in tower Alt-Tabbed came back there were a couple event messages relating to diesels which I hadn't been in but there were gv around. So it seems random or not sure what triggers it.

Fixed for patch 3.
