Got the new patch, the wind sound didn't come on at cruising speed like it used to so I'd say still broke. I even jacked my environment sound way up hoping it was just more subtle, but no dice.

I'm hearing wind again.

Kanth check sound device assignments since you had vox trouble too with this patch.

Bugs don't always affect everyone the same.  I'm just saying it works for me.

I think I found it, it's MUCH more subtle for me(more of a really faint hiss) but still has that repetitive tick which helps.

I think having my phone plugged into my usb to charge was the culprit here.  I have a charger that I should have used. The phone causes all sorts of interrupt problems with the rift.  It's a trouble maker anyway.

I think the finding was that it's attached to engine noise. So if you slide your engine noise all the way down to silence, and then dive really steep, there will be no wind noise.

If you turn your engine sounds up and then shut off the engine and dive, there's wind.

So part of the problem was my expectation that it was attached to environment.   :aok
